1. Acceptance of Terms: By approving an estimate/quote from Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC and/or allowing or instructing work to begin, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms & Conditions are incorporated into and made part of all estimates and service agreements issued by Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC.
2. Scope of Work: Services include exterior cleaning such as pressure washing or soft washing of surfaces listed in the estimate/quote, including but not limited to siding, roofs, decks, patios, driveways, walkways, fences, and other exterior surfaces specified in the approved estimate.
3. Customer Preparation: Customer agrees to provide access to an outdoor water source and ensure all windows and doors are properly closed and sealed prior to service. Customer must move vehicles, outdoor furniture, decorations, grills, planters, and other items away from the work area. Customer agrees to keep children and pets indoors and away from work areas during Services.
4. Property Condition: Exterior cleaning may reveal or worsen pre-existing conditions including but not limited to loose paint, oxidation on siding, deteriorated wood, cracked mortar, loose siding, aged caulking, damaged or brittle roofing materials, loose or missing shingles, or other structural or cosmetic issues. Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC is not responsible for damage related to pre-existing conditions, improper installation of exterior materials, or surfaces that are already compromised. Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC reserves the right to assess property conditions and refuse or modify Services if surfaces are not deemed suitable for pressure or soft washing.
5. Roof Washing: Roof cleaning is performed using a soft washing method designed to safely treat and remove algae, moss, lichen, and organic growth. The Customer acknowledges that roof washing may reveal pre-existing conditions including but not limited to brittle shingles, granule loss, cracked or curled shingles, flashing issues, or prior repairs. Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC is not responsible for damage related to aged, improperly installed, or compromised roofing materials. Cleaning may cause additional granule loss on older shingles, which is considered a normal condition of aged roofing materials and not the result of the cleaning process. Certain stains or discoloration may be permanent, and complete removal cannot be guaranteed.
6. Photo & Video Documentation: Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC reserves the right to photograph and/or video record the property before, during, and after Services are performed for documentation and quality assurance purposes. These images may document pre-existing conditions including but not limited to oxidation, cracks, loose siding, deteriorated wood, failing paint, roofing wear, or other conditions and may be used in the event of disputes regarding property condition or service results. The Customer acknowledges that photographs or videos taken before, during, or after Services may be used by Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC for marketing and promotional purposes, including publication on (i) Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC website at iwashli.com or (ii) business social media websites, for purposes of before-and-after image gallery. Customer grants Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use such media for marketing and promotional purposes without compensation.
7. Water Use & Water Intrusion: Pressure washing uses water provided by the Customer and may include cleaning solutions. Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC is not responsible for water entering the home through poorly sealed windows, doors, vents, light fixtures, electrical outlets, roof penetrations, or other structural openings. Customer is responsible for ensuring the property is properly sealed and weatherproof prior to service.
8. Stains & Surface Appearance: While professional cleaning methods are used, complete stain removal cannot be guaranteed. Certain stains may be permanent. Surfaces such as concrete, brick, siding, stone, and roofing materials may show color variations, oxidation, fading, or prior repairs after cleaning.
9. Oxidation & Post-Cleaning Surface Changes: Certain exterior materials including vinyl siding, painted surfaces, aluminum siding, roofing materials, and older composite materials may contain oxidation, fading, or uneven weathering. Cleaning may reveal or highlight these conditions which may appear as streaking, blotching, or color variations after washing. These conditions are pre-existing and are not caused by the cleaning process. Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC is not responsible for oxidation-related appearance changes or surface variations revealed after cleaning.
10. Landscaping: Reasonable care will be taken to protect plants and landscaping. However, Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC is not responsible for damage due to plant sensitivity, wind drift, overspray, or runoff of cleaning solutions.
11. Water Runoff & Drainage: Exterior cleaning may produce water runoff across driveways, sidewalks, landscaping, and drainage systems. Harris Pressure & Soft Washing LLC is not responsible for the direction of natural water flow, staining caused by existing debris being rinsed from surfaces, or water entering storm drains or neighboring areas as a result of normal cleaning operations.
12. Neighboring Property: Cleaning activities may result in water mist, overspray, or runoff near neighboring properties. While reasonable care will be taken, Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC is not responsible for incidental contact with neighboring surfaces or property resulting from normal cleaning operations.
13. HOA & Community Regulations: Customer is responsible for ensuring that exterior cleaning services comply with any applicable Homeowners Association (HOA), condominium, or community regulations. Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC is not responsible for obtaining approvals or complying with HOA restrictions unless explicitly stated in writing.
14. Right to Refuse or Stop Work: Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC reserves the right to refuse or discontinue Services if property conditions are determined to be unsafe, structurally compromised, improperly installed, or otherwise unsuitable for pressure or soft washing. In such cases the Customer will be notified and any Services completed up to that point may be subject to partial payment.
15. Weather & Scheduling: Exterior cleaning services are dependent on weather conditions. Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC reserves the right to reschedule Services due to rain, high winds, freezing temperatures, or other conditions that may impact safety or cleaning effectiveness. Customer will be notified and Services will be rescheduled for the next available date.
16. Right to Cancel: Should Customer choose to cancel scheduled Services, Customer must notify Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC in writing at info@iwashli.com or by calling 1-833-iWashLI (1-833-492-7454). Unless otherwise agreed to between Customer and Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC:
• Cancellation up to 48 hours prior to scheduled Service date: No charge
• Cancellation within 24 hours of Service date: Up to 50% of approved Service total may be charged
• Cancellation on the day of scheduled Service: Up to 100% of approved Service total may be charged
17. Payment: Payment is due upon completion of Services unless otherwise stated in the estimate. Customer may pay Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC by (i) check, (ii) cash, or (iii) credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or Discover). Applicable sales tax shall be added to Services. Credit card payments are subject to an additional processing fee (currently 1.5–3.5%) charged by the financial institution, which shall be the responsibility of the Customer.
18. Right to Address Concerns: Customer agrees to notify Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC of any concerns regarding Services within 24 hours of completion so the issue may be reviewed and addressed if possible.
19. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks: Customer agrees not to initiate credit card chargebacks or payment disputes without first contacting Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC to allow an opportunity to review and address concerns. Unauthorized chargebacks for properly completed Services may be subject to collection efforts and recovery of associated fees.
20. Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC’s liability for any claim related to Services performed shall not exceed the total amount paid for the Services provided.
21. Indemnification: Customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of property conditions, Customer’s failure to properly prepare the property, pre-existing conditions, or claims made by third parties related to Services performed.
22. Dispute Resolution: Customer agrees that any dispute arising from Services performed shall first be addressed directly with Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC to allow an opportunity for inspection and resolution. Any unresolved dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the state where Services were performed.
23. Force Majeure: Neither Customer nor Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC shall be responsible for failure to perform Services due to events beyond reasonable control including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or other force majeure events. Services will be rescheduled within a reasonable timeframe.
24. Marketing Communications: By requesting a quote, approving an estimate, or receiving Services from Harris Pressure & Soft Washing, LLC, Customer agrees to receive marketing communications via email, text message or mail carrier. Customer may opt out at any time by submitting a written request to info@iwashli.com.
